‘Power Moves’ is an editorial image campaign celebrating the innate beauty, strength, and grace of the human body in motion. I collaborated with Toronto-based photographer Liz Caruana for this photo shoot. Styling by Bernadette Holmes. Hair & Makeup by Jason Alex. Photographer Liz Caruana, stylist Bernadette Holmes, and I had worked together many times on client photo shoots. We wanted to collaborate again on an athletic photo shoot with some of the models we knew and simultaneously work with new talent. We needed a solid creative concept and a versatile outdoor location.

Our vision crystallized into a concept that showcased people defying gravity through explosive power moves and exhilarating workouts. We aimed to spotlight the extraordinary physical strength and graceful finesse inherent in the human form.
The abandoned runways and industrial structures at the historic Naval Base at Alameda Pointe proved to be the perfect canvas for our creative vision. As the sun rose on a bright Saturday morning, every element fell into place, culminating in the photographs before you.
